Centre supports XRB Climate-Related Disclosures’ effectiveness project

Renzhu Zhang, CSF Projects Coordinator, has taken on a postdoctoral fellowship for the XRB-funded effectiveness evaluation of ‘Aotearoa New Zealand’s Climate-related Disclosure Frameworkproject. This project aims to provide insights into how the XRB Climate Disclosure Standards impact the business decision making and capital allocation toward a low emission climate resilient New Zealand economy.

Working alongside Dr Sebastian Gehricke, Director of the Climate and Energy Finance Group (CEFGroup), Renzhu will be supporting the survey strand of the research and assisting in producing interim reports for project stages 1, 2, and 3. The project team also includes Professor Sarah Walton, Professor Lisa Ellis, and Ms. Tess Hazelhurst.

If you are a CRE, CFI, voluntary reporter, primary user, or a general stakeholder and are interested in getting involved, please reach out to Sebastian.gehricke@otago.ac.nz. The survey will be distributed in a future communication.
