What’s the role of trusts, foundations, iwi and Māori asset owners in equitably funding and financing the transition to a sustainable, low-emissions future?

How can funders align their investment approach to a net zero by 2050 future? How can they ‘crowd in’ capital to New Zealand-based climate solutions?

To unpack those questions, the Investing in Climate Solutions event on April 26 convened representatives from trusts, foundations, iwi and Māori asset owners and investment advisors.

The event was co-hosted by the Centre for Sustainable Finance: Toitū Tahua, Philanthropy New Zealand | Tōpūtanga Tuku Aroha o Aotearoa, BayTrust, and the Climate Venture Capital Fund.
